Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani Peruvian Muay Thailand fighter, mixed martial artist who currently competing with the UFC flyweight division. She is older than fellow UFC Fighter and previous UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko began her professional journey as an Muay Thai boxer. She debuted in 2003, at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was the winner of this tournament, beating Suzane Mill in the finals via a majority decision. Antonina was awarded a medal of silver in 2007 and a medal that was bronze in 2008 as well as the gold medal in 2011. In addition, she was named IFMA Amateur Muaythai World Champ in the year 2016. Antonia began her professional career in 2003, and she won the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship in 2012 the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship in 2016 as well as the WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships in 2016. Antonina's fight for her final title took place at the Phoenix Fighting Championship against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas. She took victory by unanimous decision. Antonina Shychenko's first professional MMA debut was in 2002 during the KFK Championships of Kyrgystan where she was matched against Anara Bayanova. She won with a TKO at the end of second and she went on to win two more fights in the WXF X-Impact World Championships, 2003. It gave her a 3-0 MMA record. Shevchenko had a short break from MMA in order to concentrate on kickboxing. She returned with a win against Anissa Haddaoui at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko took the victory over Anissa Haddaoui's fight in a unified decision. She defeated Valerie Domergue, at Phoenix FC 4 by the same decision. She quit the promotion and began Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko beat Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina utilized her strike skills and striking skills to TKO Nievera in the clinch through knees that hit the body. Antonina's UFC contract was extended in the wake of this win. Antonina was able to make her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale, with Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modafferi via split decision fight after winning the first bout by unanimous decision. Antonina has recovered from her loss by defeating Lucie Pudilova on UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler with a back-naked choke. It earned her the fight-ofthe-night prize. Shevchenko suffered defeat to Katlyn Cookagian and then beat Ariane Lipski in her subsequent three bouts. Antonina recently lost by TKO, in the 2nd round against Casey O'Neill, at UFC Fight Night Santos Vs. Walker.
